"Colored Pastel Direct Observation"
Objective: Using two colored pastels and a white pastel draw the still life realistically. Use the colors to emphasize value changes.
This work utilizes red, white, and blue pastels. The white serves as the light tones, the red as the middle, and the blue as the dark. The work then utilizes the combination of colors to help create depth and contrast.
